Welcome to another installment of 11th Century News with Xavier Douglas.

Tonight I have a special report to dish on. Being the good Gods Fearing woman I am I was in church this afternoon and heard some gossip among the priest speaking with some of the washwomen after confessions. Seems he came into some coinage for the church thru some unusual means. From what I can tell is that a tall, dark and dangerous man came and paid a rather large amount of money for a middle of the night marriage ceremony .

It was not just any normal marriage seems that a Douglas woman was seen in the company of this dark man and was bound in Holy Matrimony, or Unholy as the priest was heard saying.

To say we are in shock hearing this and wonder who this dark man is and more so what Douglas woman would want to be attached to such a vanguard as this dark man is talked about.

The noon news from around the Realms

Today ‘s news comes from over the mountain from the Sire of Ayr. I just happened to been back over that way on a buying trip when I came across the town crier posting the newest announcements on the Duke of Ayr & Earl of Silverthorne. Seems that Duke Draakar Karal has betrothal himself to a former Italian Courtesan Ginevra della Marciana.

Yes indeedie this is the same Ginevra that was visiting Draakar when his then wife Nicole Kaeane Karal, once and Always Queen of Kielder Highlands was upon her sick bed hovering between the living and other side. When Nicole came back about and got on her feet, there was abit of a row and Ginevra was sent packing from the lands.

That was then. . . . Now seems that Draak has taken back up with this Italian Dove.

So I questioned the town crier to ask if there is any other news on this newest betrothal in Ayr. From what I can gleam from him is the Duke seemed to have had to two loves in his life before settling on his Gin. Seems he was carrying on with a Royal of another land and with his Italian courtesan. Its seems that Love has won out. There seems to be abit of a history with Ginevra and Draakar that needs to be told it seems.

Welcome to the late night edition of 11th Century News with Xavier Douglas.

Good evening this latest report comes from the Rivvin Che’el where the House Navere stands.

I have been an honored guest of the Matron of Navere Gia Navere, and tonight Gia could be heard thru out the House as well as the city don’t doubt bellowing for her weapons master Valkryn Valdrin Jabbuk.
Seems to be that during the Masq ball in Port Saorsa on the Saturday evening of the carnival both Gia and Valkryn had gone with the masses. This is where apparently it got interesting for Valkryn.

Seems that while in the mist of the partying there was a meeting with a certain witch that has her gaze fixed on the Weapons Master and with meeting among the other masked revelers she kissed him in front of Gods an everyone, with Gia watching. Well if you want to have hell come into town then you get your other half mad at you.

Seems that tonight there was a bit of shoutin in the Courtyard of Navere over this Sydel kissing Valkryn and that is only the beginning folks. Much of the ‘dirty laundry’ got aired out tonight between Valk and Gia. By that Gia has demanded that Valk take himself out of her presence and out of Navere. Tho we could hear from our place that Valkryn has held his ground and is willing to fight this out with her.
We can only guess from that there is a trouble in this paradise for them.
